Hello, all. Greetings from the mountains of Wyo.
Sorry to not blog for a while, the change freaked me out. Now I am unfreaked. Just returned from RMTA in Gunnison, Colorado. Our wild and crazy show was well received, and one of our actresses won the Best Community Theatre Acting Competition, and her partner won the Best Partner Award. Our tiny theatre company has become well liked and respected by the RMTA community. Something has gone seriously wrong with RMTA, I think, to choose we lunatics two years in a row. Next year Denver. Saw some old faces, they miss the old Western crowd. And we all miss Colleen's choreography. Saw a production of the Robber Bridegroom, not bad, no banjo, which was strange.
Great to see some new faces. John Vitullo, wow. I just directed The Girl in the Freudian Slip. Holy flashbacks batman! Bliss...if you were unfreaked, how would we know it was you? Congrats on RMTA, and glad to know all is well with you. And as I look upon this list, man, I don't know half these people. Then again I barely know me half the time. The other half I just don't admit to. Anyone out there who's got a myspace account, let us know, it's truly cool how many folks you run into from years and years ago. Perfect example-Brian Hendley. If any of you were part of the "other" bonfire crowd, ya might remember him. 2 words-couch + roof. Someone's got those pictures somewhere...
