Hi everybody! We're still in Salt Lake, waiting for Rik to finish law school so we can try somewhere new. He got elected editor in chief of law review, so we're not expecting to see much of him over the next year. Trish is still teaching high school, but has decided this is her last year of it--this is great news. :) The boys are doing well-- David is 9 and taking both musical theater and breakdance classes, and London is 10 months-- he can say "uh oh" and is just starting to learn to walk.
Rik got a job at a firm in helena, so we'll be up there for the summer-- should be fun, David is really excited for his second summer at Grandstreet.
We saw Dierdre and Desert Dance Theater perform at Trish's high school a couple of days ago-- it really made us feel sentimental. There are so many people we've lost touch with over the years.

Thinking of you all,
Rik, Trish, David and London Wade

HiDeeHo Good Neighbors!

So I just created a new Burger Blog to record my top burgers, and remembered the WWC Blog so I thought I would chime in! I read through the archive and MAN it makes me miss Theatre.. Hanging lights by my toes and hanging out more in "Limbo!" What I wouldn't give to spend the week (or more... lots, lots more) hanging lights and listening to Bob.

SO here is a quick update on me... still married (just celebrated the big 5 yr) and I have two kids... Aiden and Ellie, both who are as rambunctious and inquisitive as their mom. I currently am working with Wells Fargo I work with Diversity initiatives with Human Resources, and doing some work with construction loans.
I did just meet a guy in my neighborhood who has dimmer boards, a handful of lights, and some pretty great sound equipment... hmmmm the possibilities!
Though the Burger Blog is a little under construction, feel free to take a glance and if you are in or near the Salt Lake area, I have some great suggestions for a great burger! There will be an honorable mentions for Broadway Burger and Cruely J's... so keep an eye out! Feel free to post your favorite burgers too! I will have my point system up soon... so feel free to mark yours and send them in! =)

Hi Folks, long time no blog. Well Colleen and I have been doing very well down here in Texas.

Colleen is now the President of Cisco Junior College and I am the Director of the Performing Arts Department. I direct straight plays during the year with students and run the Big Country Dinner Theatre, a small professional theatre company located in the first ever Hilton Hotel during the summers. We have lots of cats, 2 dogs, and about 30 cows. Everything moves a little slower in Cisco - people just seem to slow down and take a little more time with taking care of each other. It is sort of like Mayberry with a little warmer weather. As you see with Miles's post, there is a conspiracy to commit reunion down here during the first week of August in 2009. We hope all of you come down and spend a week in the sun down at the lake. The humidity here is great for the skin. We feel younger than ever after living here for a few years (as you can tell by this old photo that I am trying to pass off as a recent picture). Much love to all. Peace. Billy

WWC Theatre Reunion

Hey Everybody!
As some of you are already aware, Natalie Burgess and I are organizing a WWC Theatre Reunion. This is scheduled for the first week of August 2009 in Cisco Texas. The point of planning it that far in the future is so that there will be NO EXCUSES for not being able to get there. So everybody clear your schedules for that week and please keep them clear. We would love to see you all there. I have visited with Billy about this and he is looking forward to it. For those of you interested (hopefully all of you) please send either myself or Natalie Burgess your e-mail and regular mailing address, as well as a phone number where you can be reached. Over the next year we will be using these to send more information to you about the plans as they develop. I am excited for the chance to see you all again, and to meet those of you who were there before my time at WWC. Thanks.

Happy days!

Hey all,

I finally have enough space in le ol' casa, to add a new member to the family...

Here she is, "Phoebe"... named after the Greek Titan of bright intelligence. Originally, we were planning to name her "Gaia", but it sounded a little too 'guy'-ish when we tried it. Consequently, and completely unplanned, Gaia is the Greek Titan mother of Phoebe. Who would have thought? :-)

anyhow... here she is (at 18 wks old, which is 4.5 mo.):

You can see more of her at:
Phoebe's online presence

Hope ya all had a great Thanksgiving!! take care all. :-)

Lisa in Rock Springs

So I did the math today and it has been 10 years since I performed as a freshman
in Desert Dance Theatre. I am on the Rock Springs campus this week and next week as a guest artist creating work on the students and teaching. I happened upon this in the House Left Props Storage. I took a picture with my iPhone (hee hee). 10 years is a long time and of course a lot of things have changed, but I did smile big when I saw this marker, that and when I heard the students refer to "Final Frontier" :)

Big Desert Love,

Lisa Niedermeyer
